Permanent Care

Most of our Residents have chosen to live permanently at Mayfair, and enjoy the friendliness and respect given them by all members of staff. Independence is encouraged, but support is given individually as required, for activities and daily living. There are many features in the complex to make living with us safe, enjoyable and rewarding, including our full recreational programme. Typical activities include quizzes, bowls, skittles and quoits, sing-a-longs, entertainers, visiting speakers, craft and word games. The programme of events is planned monthly and a detailed weekly programme is distributed in advance.

Respite Care

If you are temporarily unable to care for yourself, we will welcome you into our community of Residents and friendly experienced staff. Our full range of Rest Home services will be available to you, and we will make your stay a comfortable, enjoyable and stimulating one.

Carer Support

Government funded carer support enables people normally looked after in their home, to visit Mayfair for a short stay, while their carers have some time out for themselves. As short term Residents, you will be well looked after, and share in the Rest Home Services offered to long term Residents.

Day Care

Day Care facilities are available four days a week. Clients join in with the Residents and enjoy the full range of activities. You will have home baked morning and afternoon teas and a hot meal followed by dessert at lunch time. You will make new friends, revive old skills and interests, and enjoy the company of others
